After breakfast, there is short drive through stunning canyon scenery to the start spot near village, where we will prep the packrafts with everything you’ll need for the next three days, then set off to our first destination. This section lasts five to six hours, from the starting point of Sljivansko to Radovan Luka and village Tepca where is also deepest point of canyon – 1300m. On your way you will see the spring “Ljutica” – which is recognizable as one of the most important natural jewels of the Tara River and the most powerful spring in Europe, the famous bridge on the Djurdjevica Tara, which with its five arches and a height of 150 meters, is a real architectural masterpiece. It is known that during the construction of this bridge, the wooden scaffolding used at that time was the largest ever made in Europe. Depending on the wishes of the group, we are able to visit the Monastery of Saint Michael the Archangel from 15th century and bathe in the cold “Green Springs”. Next, we continue downstream through the canyon, coming across a number of places, such as: Bijela vrela, Obodina, Ninkovica port, Draga canyon, and we end at Tepca village where we spent our first night at spectacular and small 4-star hotel.
